Our tour in Penang was fabulous. Lawrence was waiting for us at the prearranged time and place on the dockside. Lawrence was an excellent guide, he was very knowledgeable about Penang and the rest of the Malay Peninsula. We drove out of The city and off first to visit the Orangutans, the facility is well run and is not a zoo the animals are rehabilitated and released. We then drove back to Penang for lunch, took the Train to the top of the hill, where the views were spectacular. Thank You Lawrence !

Lawrence was fantastic as our guide. Extremely knowledgeable, covered absolutely everything. Very well prepared (before and during the tour) and offered us plenty of options for the day. Also great with time keeping as we had to be back on board our cruise ship by 4pm. Really made the day as smooth as possible. We were all very happy and highly recommend Lawrence to anyone visiting Penang.

We had a big family holiday and to cater for our parents who cannot understand English and the younger generation that can only understand English, so we chose Lawrence for his ability to speak fluently in both English and Mandarin – and he didn’t disappoint! Lawrence is very friendly, knowledgeable and brilliant. We couldn’t have found a better tour guide for our first trip to Penang – definitely recommend him!

Excellent day tour in Penang! Lawrence picked us up promptly at the cruise port in a nice, air-conditioned car, and he had a full day of site seeing and activities planned, adding to and changing the schedule to meet out preferences. He communicated with us before the trip to further adapt the day to our interests. He is very knowledgeable, articulate, and witty. Plan early and make sure you get Lawrence for your guide.

We had a very good trip with Lawrence to the Orang Utan Island to see the sanctuary there and heard all about the efforts that are being made to grow the Orang Utan population. We were only in Georgetown Port for the day and Lawrence ensure that we were back on board in good time for sailing. He is very knowledgeable about the sanctuary and the orang utans and we can thoroughly recommend his tour.

Lawrence made sure the tour itinerary and to plan and was prepared to make adjustments when there was haze on the day. He made sure our group of 10 was always safe and looked after, including my dad who in the late 70s and can’t walk far. He was always kind to the children and understood about my son with autism. Lawrence communicated with us well before the tour and gave us the reassurance that the tours arranged were confirmed and all charges expected.
