The group's first major stop was Kuala Selangor, a serene town known for its rich biodiversity. The delegates visited Melawati Hill, home to the enchanting Silvered Leaf Monkeys. These primates, also known as Silvered Langurs, are characterized by their striking silver-grey fur and gentle demeanour. They are primarily folivorous, feeding on young leaves, fruits, and flowers. The delegates were fascinated by these sociable creatures and the picturesque surroundings of Melawati Hill.
As dusk fell, the group embarked on a magical night cruise to witness the mesmerizing fireflies along the Selangor River. The spectacle of thousands of fireflies illuminating the mangrove trees was a sight to behold, leaving the delegates in awe of nature's silent symphony.
Kuala Lumpur: The Heartbeat of Malaysia
In Kuala Lumpur, the delegates enjoyed shopping at Sungai Wang Plaza, a bustling shopping haven offering a mix of local and international brands. The thrill of bargaining and the variety of goods available made for a delightful shopping experience.
The adventure continued at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, where the group indulged in exhilarating rides and water attractions. The theme park's diverse offerings catered to all ages, ensuring a day filled with fun and excitement.
The day culminated with a sumptuous buffet dinner at the Aras Restaurant, located in the revolving section of the 421-meter-tall Kuala Lumpur Tower. As they dined, the delegates were treated to panoramic views of the city’s skyline, creating an unforgettable dining experience.

The journey then took the delegates to Malacca for an immersive cultural experience. They visited historical landmarks such as A' Famosa, the remains of a Portuguese fortress, and the Dutch Square, known for its distinctive red buildings and the iconic Christ Church.
The delegates were warmly welcomed by Puan Rahimah in a traditional Malay house nestled in a Malay village. Puan Rahimah, a matriarch with 14 children and over 50 grandchildren, shared her life stories and traditions, providing a heartfelt glimpse into Malay culture. The hospitality and rich cultural exchange left a lasting impression on the visitors.
