We mistakenly booked this tour not realizing that the venue was not open Tuesdays. Lawrence was very flexible and gave us the highlights of Penang. We experienced a wonderful tour in a rainforest and had some very local food. We also experienced an exhilarating ride through the streets in the local tuk-tuks. Very fun day.

Out tour: Penang Culture & Nature Tour. We had already agreed our wishes with our tour guide in advance. We started with the Trishaw ride, followed by a ride through Art Street. When Lawrence realised that we would rather explore this area on foot, he spontaneously changed the tour and even extended it accordingly. We then took the funicular train up Penang Hill. Our absolute highlight was "The Habitat's tree-top walk" - an absolute must in Penang! An all-round successful day with Lawrence!

Excellent tour, highly recommend. Lawrence is friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent driver and tour guide who was really enjoyable to spend the day with talking to. Great communication before the tour and after arriving promptly at our hotel he got us to the front of the queues for the attractions and best seats on the ferry and rail. Nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to be flexible with the day as we required. Wonderful day which we thoroughly enjoyed!! Thanks Lawrence!!

Lawrence provided an excellent tour of Penang, provided interesting commentary on culture and history, and was flexible to drive us to 2 temples we wanted to visit. At Kek Lok Si temple, he added fascinating explanations about Buddhism, feeding the tortoises, and making our wishes on ribbons to hang. The trishaw ride through Georgetown was fun, and he gave insightful explanations as he guided us through the Khoo Kongsi clan house. The Penang Hill funicular and buggy ride were enjoyable. Highly recommend!
P/S: Lawrence Lam was a superb 5-star guide. The 510 character max on public comments did not allow more details. We really enjoyed his fascinating commentary and learned so much about Penang history, geography, culture, foods, and saw the major highlights in our short 1-day visit. His humor and enthusiasm throughout our day made our tour memorable, and I highly recommend him! We got to see and learn so much more than on a large bus tour. Thank you so much, and we hope our wishes made at Kek Lok Si will be granted by the Goddess of Mercy. Kung Hei Fat Choy!

We highly recommend Lawrence to be your guide in Penang if you're lucky enough to find him available. We booked many months in advance without regret. We had an excellent tour with our very experienced and knowledgeable guide Lawrence. Changes to the ferry times to get across to the Orang Utan Island required a slight alteration to our original plans. Lawrence couldn't have been more accommodating and took us to a number of interesting sites en route. The visit to see the Orang Utans was however truly memorable and we left understanding so much more about these incredible animals! Thoroughly recommend both this trip and the services of Lawrence Lam.

Lawrence has exceptional knowledge of all the tour sites in all 4 cities that we visited. He was very friendly and flexible. He provided us with his personal experience and based on our preferences to select the sites that we would enjoy. We enjoyed tremendously the local food and street vendors we experienced. We highly recommend Lawrence to anyone who wants to get an overview of Malaysia.

We are a group of 6 Canadians. Lawrence met us promptly at the cruise ship terminal for an action packed day. I contacted him the night before and changed the itinerary, he was very accommodating. We started with a Trishshaw ride around Georgetown, saw the bike mural, mansion, Penang Funicular, Entopia Butterfly Farm and a batik factory. All were great sites to see. The Entopia and batik factory were a long way from the port but Lawrence had us back to the ship in plenty of time. Highly recommend Lawrence
