Orang Utan Island + Penang, full-day by brand-new 2.0L SUV (built 2024)
Lawrence met us at the Penang port and we made great time to the orangutan island. Because we were a bit early he showed us an arrowana fish store and told us about the grading (=pricing) of the fish. At the island we got on a small but faster boat and he explained to us everything he knows about the orangutans and showed us how the orangutan can use a stick to get peanuts and fruit that fell outside the enclosure demonstrating that the animal can use tools, Lawrence is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the orangutans as well as many subjects. Later he took us to the Penang hills and we rode on the funicular in the vip line. With a bit of time left he also took us to the Chew Jetty and had time to go see the bicycle mural. Our driver was very nice and he was courteous to other drivers. All in all, Lawrence and the driver provided us a superb and wonderful experience.
